Well, the end is more than in sight; it's racing toward me like an oncoming train.
I know that's a rather violent analogy, as we all know what happens when an oncoming train collides with an object in its way.
Well, hopefully I don't jump out of the way or get smushed to a pulp. Regardless, the train is coming, ready or not. (And I have no one to blame but myself; I'm the one who set the release date!)
Anyway, it's actually going fairly well! The book has now been revised, edited, reviewed, and formatted! It's on its way to the printer, and the ebook is available for preorders.
So this post is completely, entirely, 100% self-promotional.
The book can also be ordered in print copy, but not for preorders, so if you prefer an actual book in your hands, feel free to wait.
The price for preorders will be steadily climbing; it will go up $1 USD every week until it gets to its regular price for launch. So in other words, if you want an ebook copy, the earlier you order, the better for your wallet. (Not that it will ever be that expensive, mind you!)
Everything is moving right along. The goodreads page for the book is even up, here.
And events! Check out the events page, right here on my website, to see the events I've booked: two local fairs (hoping for one more!) and my launch! Woo-hoo! (Do people really even woo-hoo anymore? Generally I respond with "woot" or "huzzah" in real life. Or the Kermit "yay!" gif.)
Anyway, I appreciate you, reader, if anyone out there in Internet-land is reading this, for hanging out during this shameless self-promotion.
I promise to be back with book reviews now that October has hit! So stay tuned for that, general thoughts about writing and reading, and, yes, more updates on the book.
And don't forget to subscribe to my monthly newsletter, which goes out the first Tuesday of every month (yes, it went out this morning!). If you don't want to miss the next one, subscribe today, before it ends up as one of those things among the myriad of other things that you forget about in the chaos of everyday life. (Hey, I do it too!)
Subscribe via my website. The easiest is probably through my contact page, here.
And thanks for staying tuned. Happy reading and writing and living!
