2023 Reading Summary

Updated: Sep 24

I know, I know, I know. I went and disappeared again. I'm sorry! No excuses, and only a thinly veiled apology.

But, with December 2023 knocking on the door, I started looking at my reading goals for this year, thinking about where I can still go before 2023 comes to a close.

My goal was to read 25 books this year, as many from my TBR as possible. I am not doing well on that last aspect, but here is where I currently am:

  1. Before the Coffee Gets Cold - Toshikazu Kawaguchi, Geoffrey Trousselot (translator) (2015)

  2. The Duke and I - Julia Quinn (2000)

  3. The Duke and I: The 2nd Epilogue - Julia Quinn

  4. The Viscount Who Loved Me - Julia Quinn (2006)

  5. The Viscount Who Loved Me: The 2nd Epilogue - Julia Quinn (2006)

  6. An Offer from a Gentleman - Julia Quinn (2001)

  7. An Offer From a Gentleman: The 2nd Epilogue - Julia Quinn (2009)

  8. Beach Read - Emily Henry (2020)

  9. A Killer Cupcake - Fiona Grace (2020)

  10. Diving Into Love - Kat Bellemore (2020)

  11. The Curious Case of Benjamin Button - F. Scott Fitzgerald (1922)

  12. The Maid - Nita Prose (2022)

  13. If I Could Turn Back Time - Beth Harbison (2015)

  14. This is Your Life, Harriet Chance! - Jonathan Evison (2015)

  15. Desperate Measures - Katee Robert (2019)

  16. Learn My Lesson - Katee Robert (2019)

  17. A Worthy Opponent - Katee Robert (2020)

  18. The Beast - Katee Robert (2020)

  19. The Awakening - Allen Johnson (2014)

  20. The Sea Witch - Katee Robert (2020)

  21. Queen Takes Rose - Katee Robert (2020)

  22. Wicked Villains Shorts - Katee Robert (2020)

  23. The Unfortunates - Laurie Graham (2003)

  24. The Hobbit - JRR Tolkien (1937)

UPDATE: ONE book short? Just one? Really? Oof.

Well, I read a few from my TBR but not as many as I hoped, and I did get close to my goal. I ended the year in quite a reading slump, though. Not sure where that will leave me for 2024.
