I know, I know, I know. I went and disappeared again. I'm sorry! No excuses, and only a thinly veiled apology.
But, with December 2023 knocking on the door, I started looking at my reading goals for this year, thinking about where I can still go before 2023 comes to a close.
My goal was to read 25 books this year, as many from my TBR as possible. I am not doing well on that last aspect, but here is where I currently am:
Before the Coffee Gets Cold - Toshikazu Kawaguchi, Geoffrey Trousselot (translator) (2015)
The Duke and I - Julia Quinn (2000)
The Duke and I: The 2nd Epilogue - Julia Quinn
The Viscount Who Loved Me - Julia Quinn (2006)
The Viscount Who Loved Me: The 2nd Epilogue - Julia Quinn (2006)
An Offer from a Gentleman - Julia Quinn (2001)
An Offer From a Gentleman: The 2nd Epilogue - Julia Quinn (2009)
Beach Read - Emily Henry (2020)
A Killer Cupcake - Fiona Grace (2020)
Diving Into Love - Kat Bellemore (2020)
The Curious Case of Benjamin Button - F. Scott Fitzgerald (1922)
The Maid - Nita Prose (2022)
If I Could Turn Back Time - Beth Harbison (2015)
This is Your Life, Harriet Chance! - Jonathan Evison (2015)
Desperate Measures - Katee Robert (2019)
Learn My Lesson - Katee Robert (2019)
A Worthy Opponent - Katee Robert (2020)
The Beast - Katee Robert (2020)
The Awakening - Allen Johnson (2014)
The Sea Witch - Katee Robert (2020)
Queen Takes Rose - Katee Robert (2020)
Wicked Villains Shorts - Katee Robert (2020)
The Unfortunates - Laurie Graham (2003)
The Hobbit - JRR Tolkien (1937)
UPDATE: ONE book short? Just one? Really? Oof.
Well, I read a few from my TBR but not as many as I hoped, and I did get close to my goal. I ended the year in quite a reading slump, though. Not sure where that will leave me for 2024.
